π WEEK AHEAD - BTC
This week will gut-check inflation. The CPI drops Tuesday (current consensus: 3.4% headline), then we get the PPI number on Wednesday, and finally Retail Sales Thursday - three shots at resetting the rate narrative in five days. After the -23K Non-Farm Payroll shocker, the Fed is under pressure. A soft CPI print below 3.2% would be the strongest catalyst for BTC to finally crack $65.4K and establish new range highs. A hot number (>3.6%) re-ignites the September hike trade and we likely revisit SMA50 at $63.3K. The BTCPay Lightning exploit and the CLARITY Act vote being pushed to September are both mild headwinds, but neither is a structural threat. Through the summer Whales are still accumulating (CryptoQuant: 3.06M BTC in large wallets) so the buy-the-dip bid is there beneath the surface.
π WEEK AHEAD - GLOBAL
Two big events to watch this week in global macro: the dollar and China. DXY drifted lower after NFP and a second consecutive weak macro print could accelerate that slide - which would be a genuine tailwind for risk assets. Gold above $4,300 is not just an inflation hedge at this point; itβs pricing real uncertainty about the policy path. The US Senate passed the Graham Russia sanctions bill which adds a geopolitical volatility layer mid-week. The US trade probe into China and the EU (Section 301) is a slow-burn risk - no explosion this week, but watch for retaliatory headlines that could spike vol. Globally, equity markets are holding up (SPX +0.1%) but the next two days of data will decide whether that holds. If CPI + PPI both miss low, you get a risk-on green flush. If they miss hot, everything reprices.

$64,185 β BTC bled 1.5% today, pulling back from the $65K ceiling it's tested four times this month. Not capitulation, just distribution at resistance. F&G at 30 is nervous but not broken - weak hands shaky, no washout yet. Gold pushing $4,412 (+1.6%) tells you the macro crowd is genuinely uneasy: between the NFP miss and 10Y yields ticking up to 4.7%, the risk-off bid is real. DXY barely moved (+0.1%) so this isn't a dollar squeeze - it's just uncertainty. SMA50 at $63,337 is the floor. Not shorting, not chasing. Patience.
